MISSION
To
provide
and promote
a responsive
volunteer
services
program
for the
County
of Riverside
residents,
community
and Department
of Public
Health
programs.
WHO
WE ARE
Volunteer
Services
is a program
within
the Community
Outreach
Department
that work
together
to promote
volunteerism
throughout
the County
of Riverside.
This is
done by
collaborating
with various
community
organizations
and groups,
public
and private
non-profit
organizations
and other
programs
within
the Department
of Public
Health
in coordinating
community
events
such as:
health
fairs,
flu clinics,
immunizations
clinics,
community
service
fairs
and others.
WHAT
WE DO
Volunteer
Services
helps
to promote
volunteerism
throughout
Riverside
County
by developing
and
providing
volunteer
and
internship
opportunities
for
the
community
and
residents
to become
involved
in learning,
experiencing
and
assisting
the
various
programs
within
the
Department
of Public
Health
(DOPH).
